About
Producing high quality entertainment at affordable prices.
About
Entertainment Events was formed following the success of Home-Start Butser Events (2012–2022), a community fundraising initiative that raised over £100,000 for Home-Start Butser. Building on that legacy, Entertainment Events Ltd was established as a not-for-profit company dedicated to creating high-quality entertainment and experiences at accessible prices.
In the last two years alone, we’ve generated an additional £120,000 directly under the Entertainment Events name, with all revenue reinvested into event infrastructure, production costs, and charitable donations.
Run entirely on a voluntary basis by its founders, Entertainment Events now operates most like an event services business: producing and promoting our portfolio of ticketed events, while occasionally partnering with venues and organisations to deliver events at arm’s length.
Our ethos remains the same - bringing people together through memorable experiences while supporting the community and local charities.

As an actor, Tony has captivated our audiences with his acclaimed one-man plays, taking on the role of Gus Gascoine in Anorak of Fire, starring in Starch (2024), and premiering his own original work in 2025, Living the Dream – A Bus Driver’s Lament.

Iain McClure - Event Support Team
Iain is one of the unsung heroes of our events, quietly making sure that everything is in the right place at the right time. From transporting heavy equipment and building shelters to keeping the site safe and orderly, he works tirelessly to ensure each event runs smoothly. Often among the first to arrive and the last to leave, Iain’s dedication underpins the success of our festivals and performances.

Andrew Gibson - Event Support Team
Andrew brings the same commitment and energy to every project, whether he’s assembling auditoriums, moving hundreds of chairs, or managing the many small but essential details that audiences never see.
