Immersive theatre bar raises £2,750

Last week, Entertainment Events hosted an immersive bar experience for Petersfield Theatre Groups’s production of ‘9 to 5 The Musical'
The run of 5 performances were an amazing success and 1,100 guests had a great time at La Vie en Rose, the 1979 themed and decorated bar and night club. There was a full immersive experience with theatregoers able to enjoy drinks, snacks and music provided by the heritage vinyl disco with a DJ before, during, and after the show. The dance-floor was full after each show, and the bar was highly praised by the NODA (National Operatic & Dramatic Association) assessor.

The bar was staffed and operated by volunteers and raised £2,750 for Petersfield Theatre Group funds. Entertainment Events will also be providing a theatre bar service for the upcoming CCADS production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat which runs from Wednesday 31 May to Sunday 4 June at the Festival Hall in Petersfield. We hope to see you there!

This immersive bar experience has become a staple for PTG productions, with Entertainment Events and PTG working closely with previous productions such as  Chicago, Made in Dagenham and the Addams Family and raising a combined total of £9,589 across all shows. Plans for the next PTG production in November for Our House, the Madness Musical set in Camden Market in the early 1980’s, are already in the works.
