£600 raised for Ukrainian Outreach Programme

On 3rd December 2022, Entertainment Events presented a world premiere of a new monologue written by John Lofthouse and commission by the United Church in Winchester. 

Wise Man told the story of the fourth Wise Man - who was written out of the Bible because his name was unpronouncable and his gift deemed unacceptable. Nevertheless, he was witness to the beginning of Jesus' life and came back to see the end of it too. Wise Man combined comedy with the sadness of the Easter story and has music woven throughout.

The first performance, at the United Church in Winchester was well received by a good size audience and helped to raise £600 for the United Church Ukrainian outreach programme.
