Burns Night Raises £1,375 for The Rosemary Foundation

160 guests enjoyed our Burns Night celebration held on 27th and 28th January which were held in the function room at The Half Moon. Guests were greeted by our piper before the Scottish ceilidh dancing started. A dramatic Address to the Haggis was delivered following a parade around the room accompanied by the Piper.  A lovely two-course Burns Supper with neeps and tatties to accompany the haggis, followed by tipsy laird trifle was provided by The Half Moon.

The dancefloor was full for the rest of the evening with a wide range of Scottish dances, demonstrating not only the agility of the guests but also the influence, perhaps, of some traditional Burns night cocktails which were available at the bar.

Our next event is a St Patricks Celebration on 17th and 18th March. Tickets at www.entertainment-events.co.uk/events
