Talking Heads Raises £1,000

Following a successful first performance at The Half Moon in Sheet over the Summer of 2022, which raised money for Home-Start Butser, our production of Alan Bennett's A chip in the Sugar and Bed Among the Lentils went on tour at the end of 2022. The show has visited three Hampshire churches so far, in Medstead, Micheldever and Winchester.

These hilarious monologues, with their gentle references to religion and the Church of England, lend themselves to performance in a church setting and each performance was well attended and enthusiastically received. Over the three performances so far, Entertainment Events has raised nearly a £1,000 which goes to the work of the churches within their respective communities.

Further performances are coming up at St Andrew's church in Farnham on 28th January and then on 2nd June at Hanger Farm Arts Centre in Totton.
