Burns Nights Raise £1,700 in Sell-Out Success!

160 guests attended our two annual Burns Night Ceilidhs, held once again at The Half Moon in Sheet. Piper Andrea Bungay greeted guests warmly, setting the tone for a lively evening of ceilidh dancing led by the ever-popular Liz Scholey who on Friday was supported by fiddler Sim and Guitarist Shep. As the haggis made its grand entrance, Martin Brown delivered his usual captivating toast, followed by a traditional Burns Supper featuring haggis, neeps, tatties, followed by 'tipsy laird' trifle.

Thanks to generous raffle prize donations provided by The Half Moon, Halsa Treatments & Therapies and Hector’s Clothing, and the generosity of guests, the two events raised £1700, which is now with The Rosemary Foundation.

Our Burns Nights sell out very early and therefore we have not only opened up booking for 2026 already but added an additional session – a matinee Burns Supper with all the normal features without the late night!  You can reserve you place now online for £7 (plus booking fee) - all of which goes to The Rosemary Foundation.
