Christmas at the Musicals Raises £1,150

The Half Moon function room was transformed into a cosy cabaret club on Sunday, 29th December, as 120 people gathered for an unforgettable afternoon of musical entertainment. "Christmas at the Musicals," delivered a dazzling mix of musical theatre and festive cheer, all in support of The Rosemary Foundation.

Hosted by the marvellously talented musical theatre and drama company CCADS, the show featured 8 enormously talented performers led by the accomplished JP McCrohan. The first half celebrated the best of musical theatre, while the second brought a heartwarming selection of well-loved and touching Christmas songs, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The professionalism of the production shone through, with a technical team providing exceptional support to enhance the experience. Audience members were captivated by the high-quality performances, which created an atmosphere of magic and festivity.

Thanks to the generosity of the audience, who donated generously upon exit, the event successfully raised an incredible £1,150, which will be donated directly to The Rosemary Foundation. The funds will now be put to immediate and meaningful use, helping this vital charity continue its valuable work.

Organisers expressed their gratitude to the performers, technical team, and everyone who attended, making the event a resounding success. With such a brilliant turnout and fantastic entertainment, "Christmas at the Musicals" was a highlight of the festive season, and both CCADS and Entertainment Events look  forward to bringing more events to the community throughout 2025.
